Our client reached out to Fastfwd to give their website, a holistic refresh that aligns with their new brand direction. This wellness services provider is a fitness and wellness company with 30 years of experience helping organisations support employee well-being.
Our goal was not only to make their website look better, but to also create an immersive experience for the users to better understand their offerings, beliefs, and values in a more credible and energising light.
The first challenge that we had to face for this project was the structure of the website. Before we started working on the website, the pre-existing content was fairly short and simple. Our client envisioned their website to be fun and engaging.
How do we bridge this gap? We were certain that auditing the website and aligning it with the new client’s goals was the top priority here. All of these considerations needed to be kept in mind while also ensuring alignment with the client’s scheduled launch window.
After auditing the look and feel of the website and gathering all of the vital information we needed to start with wireframing, we had to set our plan.
We believed that there was an opportunity to better communicate with the target audience of the website. Their website initially contained a lot of valuable information that we felt had the potential to be reimagined using tailored components components that would keep the viewers engaged and excited to read about what this wellness services provider has to offer. With the use of these branded components, we set out to highlight the true value of our client and elevate its content for visitors of the website.
With components in hand, and our direction established, we started working on the wireframes of the website. Given the requirements from our client, our approach leaned heavily on design heuristics. We embraced principles such as minimalist design, clear signposting, and the flexible yet efficient use of components, to name just a few.
Our close collaboration with the client ensured that feedback was incorporated at every stage, helping us pinpoint areas that required tweaking and refinement. This streamlined approach meant that our wireframes could effortlessly transition into the final designs.
Along with their energising colour palette and wonderful selection of images that complemented the story we wanted to portray for their website, we produced components and elements for the website that would surely stimulate and motivate their prospective customers in working with them in the future.
Finally, we were able to actualise our client’s vision. The result was a whole new website, welcoming and revitalising experience in promoting the principles that they stand for – bringing wellness into the workplace.
